Terms of service
Last updated:
These terms cover the use of this site and subscriptions to CVE Patrol, published by {{company legal name}}. The full subscription terms will be sent before any account is activated or any payment is taken.
Subscriptions
- The free plan needs no payment method. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time; the current month stays due.
- Plans, features and prices are those shown on this site at the time you subscribe. Any change is announced by email before it applies to you.
- Extra stacks beyond a plan's allowance are billed at the rate shown on the pricing section.
What the service is
- CVE Patrol matches the components and versions you describe against public vulnerability data and reports the result, with a suggested fix.
- It is a best effort service. It does not guarantee that every vulnerability affecting your systems will be detected, nor any detection delay.
- You stay responsible for the accuracy of the inventory you describe, for reviewing any suggested patch before applying it, and for your systems.
- The service is not a security audit, a penetration test, nor an assessment of compliance with any regulation.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher's liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, and excludes indirect losses.
